In order to commission a portrait by the artist Jake Sutton, it is necessary to contact the Kim Sutton Gallery to arrange an appointment with the artist, who is willing to visit the client in their home or other suitable meeting place, to discuss the size and complexity of the work, and the number of subjects. Further the artist will make suggestions as to how he would wish to portray the sitter.
If the artist feels the work is appropriate, a date is set for working with the sitter and in the meantime a written agreement is drawn up detailing the agreed cost and payment schedule. Please contact the gallery for a copy of our pricelist.
According to the complexity of the work, the final painting could take up to three months before completion.
